Breakfast in St. Augustine
There’s nothing like a great breakfast in St. Augustine to get your day off to a terrific start. Many of our local restaurants serve up a mighty good one, too. Here are several of our favorites. St. Augustine Breakfast Restaurants Theo's Breakfast | Theo’s Restaurant is located just off of US1 on King Street. A long time tradition for a delicious breakfast. You’ll find the usual eggs, pancakes, and a special Greek Omelet on the menu. Their toasted homemade bread is at the top of my list. Breakfast served until 11:00 a.m. Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. M – F 6:30 a.m. – 12:00 Saturday Closed Sunday 160 King Street
Georgie's Diner | Georgie’s Diner is a fun, bright silver, old-fashioned looking diner. I have to tell you a little secret, I am spoiled! Jim loves to make me breakfast and I must say, his scrambled eggs are the best! But, we found Georgie’s, and they are a very close second. Also on the menu is a wide variety of authentic Greek dishes. Breakfast is served all day. Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday – Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday 100 Malaga St For those of you staying out at the beach, Cafe Eleven, is a great place to eat. Their breakfast menu includes a wide array of goodies. Whether you order a veggie omelet, breakfast burrito, praline french toast or eggs any way you like, you're in for a treat. They open bright and early so you can stop in for breakfast before heading out to the beach. If it's a nice day you may enjoy eating out front on the patio. Brunch is served on weekends from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Everyday 501 A1A Beach Blvd.
Spanish Bakery | The Spanish Bakery is more for lunch than breakfast but if a cinnamon roll will do for breakfast then this is it. I’m hopelessly addicted! I’ve been known to go to great lengths to get one, or two, or was it three… anyway, they are delicious. Be sure to get there early as they are usually sold out by lunch time. Hours: 9:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m. 42 St George St
