Hi

We are coming down to St. Augustine on our honeymoon. We are spending 2 weeks in florida, 4 days in Orlando/Sanford and 10 in St. Augustine.

We've been looking at car rentals and they are just so expensive, so we were wondering if we will really need one while staying in St. Augustine? We are staying at Pier Point South.

Hi Chelsey

Many thanks for your visit to our website & subsequent questions regarding car hire.

Our recommendations would be that you initially do not hire a car, get out & around the old city, do the local tours by either trolley or train, maybe even one of the ghostly encounters walking tours....you will have a great few days......then if you want to travel a little further afield, just pick up a rental car for just a few days to give you more flexibility.
