Patricia Pollock, Watercolor Artist

This beautiful watercolor is an image of the downtown St. Augustine bayfront.

Patricia Pollock is an award-wining watercolor artist. After growing up on the shores of Lake Michigan in Wisconsin, Patricia moved to New York City for three years and then relocated to upstate New York.

She has a B.A. in Art History from the State University of New York and taught drawing and painting at the Roberson Center for the Arts and Sciences in Binghamton, New York for ten years. She moved to Florida in 2005 where she continues in her 34th year of painting full-time.

Most of Patricia's work is in watercolor but she also enjoys painting with acrylic on large canvases. She has a large collection of work done in the North but now paints the ocean and the life in and around the water.

Her favorite subjects are the working boats, both the fishing boats and the tugs. And close to her heart are all the wonderful shorebirds and their seaside habitat.
