Potters Wax Museum
the first and the original...

Founded in 1948 by George L. Potter, Potters Wax Museum is the first wax museum in the United States. I had no idea – we sure have a lot of “firsts” here in St Augustine!

Potter's Wax Museum
Potters Wax Museum, St. Augustine FL

The collection has over 160 realistic figures featuring authors, artists, inventors, scientists, and explorers. From our founding fathers to modern day celebrities.

Kings and queens from long ago to Michael Jordan (at right), Princess Diana, and President Bush. They are all here and look very realistic.

In the wax studio you will see Tiger Woods now in production. Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp will be joining the others soon.

The Potter’s Gift Shop has an extensive array of unusual gifts and collectibles from artisans around the world.

This is a fun, family attraction.
