Ripleys Believe It or Not; now this is sure to be fun stop.
You'll be amazed at all the strange and fascinating treasures housed in this museum.
Robert Ripley thought the Castle Warden, which was built in 1887, would be the perfect place to house his extensive collection of oddities.
He got his wish and in 1950 opened the first permanent Ripley's Museum, right here in St. Augustine, Florida.
It is filled with bizarre and unusual artifacts many from Robert Ripley’s personal collection.
Over 800 exhibits from around the world will keep you amazed and wondering.
Prehistoric jaws, the tallest man, an Egyptian mummified cat, shrunken heads, and a tiny talking leprechaun.
I don’t want to give away the fun but beware of mirrors, they may not be what they seem!
You can board the Sightseeing Trains or Ripley's Ghost Train at the Museum. They also offer a “combo” ticket that includes both the Sightseeing Train and admission to the museum.
As with most attractions, you'll exit through an interesting gift shop where you'll be able to find just the right souvenir to take back home.
