Ripley's Sightseeing Trains

All Aboard!! Ripley’s Sightseeing Trains (the red trains) offer a great way to see St. Augustine. Travel around town in an open-air red train. The drivers are professional guides that offer an interesting one-hour narrated tour. What fun!

The Trains offer a free shuttle service from all area hotels, B & B’s, condo’s and campgrounds.

Whenever you are ready, head down to the office and have the desk clerk call the "red trains". The shuttle van arrives and off you go to the train station to begin your tour.

How nice, you can park your car and leave the driving to the professionals.

There are 21 stops along the route. You can step off and step back on when you are ready and continue on your way.

Now this is amazing, your ticket is good for three days! So you can tour, shop, eat, head back to your room and rest up, then do it all again for three days in a row and you'll never have to move your car!

If you prefer to have your car waiting for later in the evening, there is plenty of free parking.

The Sugar Mill Station at the corner of San Marco and SR 16, the Welcome Center Station on San Marco Avenue, and the City Gate Station on Orange Street all have free parking available.

In the evenings, the Sightseeing Trains offer Ripley’s Ghost Train Adventure. Billed as the most interactive paranormal experience in St Augustine. I guess you’ll just have to find that out for yourself!

Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tours run every 15 minutes. Wait times may be longer during peak season.

VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure you are aboard a train by 4:15 p.m. to get back to your starting location.

Admission: Adults – $18.99
Children (6-12) - $7.99

How nice, you can park your car and leave the driving to the professionals. But how do you best get to St Augustine if you’re further afield? Well, tourists from the UK can find a wide variety of all inclusive holiday deals at ULookUBook.com that suit every budget. Holidaymakers can fly into either Jackonville International Airport or Daytona beach International Airport – tourists who find themselves in South Florida, say in Miami, might also want to consider the Amtrak train service, which goes straight to Jackonsville.
