St Augustine Amphitheatre

While you are visiting, plan to spend an evening or two at the St Augustine Amphitheatre.

You can hear your favorite national recording artist or watch a movie on the big screen. I always enjoy the shows but what makes it extra special is being outdoors under the stars.

Nestled among 16 acres of lush hammock forest, the Amphitheatre is located midway between St. Augustine and the beach.

From downtown, cross the Bridge of Lions and head south on A1A. You'll find it two miles down on your left.

The Amphitheatre was built in 1965 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the founding of St. Augustine.

For 32 years it was the home of Florida's official state play the Cross & Sword written by Pulitzer-prize winner Dr. Paul Green. The final curtain fell in 1996.

In 2002, our county decided to renovate the facility. We now have a top of the line, state of the art performing arts venue.

St Augustine Amphitheatre Tickets

When you find an upcoming show you would like to attend you can purchase tickets, right here, through TicketMaster. It is safe, secure and easy.

Parking

There is very limited on-site parking, so arrive early. Two satellite parking areas are available; behind RB Hunt Elementary School(one mile north on A1A) and the Elks Lodge (directly south on A1A). Shuttles are available beginning one and a half hours prior to show time. Please go to the designated shuttle stops for pick up.

St Augustine Amphitheatre Night Owl Cinema

Every other Friday evening during the summer season you can enjoy a free movie on the big screen. All movies are family friendly, so bring the kids and all their friends for a fun time. Free fun!!
