St. Augustine Attractions Fun - Interesting - Weird
St. Augustine attractions are numerous, interesting, and even weird! They offer a diverse array of fun things to do.
Where can you find Michael Jordan, piles of alligators, two-eyed calves, great golfers and fine wines; yep, you guessed it.
To start you off, here is our number one pick:
* St. Augustine Alligator Farm
– you must visit the Alligator Farm. It is a fascinating zoological park located halfway between St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach. I don’t believe there is another like it in the entire world.
Alligators are not the only wildlife you will find. You'll walk along a boardwalk through a native bird rookery. In the spring, fluffy egret chicks are just a few feet away. A beautiful sight.
Other fun and interesting St. Augustine Attractions include:
* San Sebastian Winery
- offering guided tours and wine tastings. Their award winning wines are made using the Florida muscadine grape.
* Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum
– be amazed as you visit the original Ripley's. They have over 800 exhibits to keep you busy and the kids entertained.
* IMAX at World Golf Hall of Fame
- see entertaining and educational movies for all ages. The screen is six stories high! The World Golf Village is located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville just off of I-95.
* Potter's Wax Museum
– check out these amazing life-like figures carved from wax. Michael Jordan greets you at the door, a preview of what you will find inside. Take a peek, I find the process and finished works fascinating.
For all the golfers out there, you won’t want to miss this:
* World Golf Hall of Fame
– celebrating golf and great golfers with an interactive, entertaining and educational experience. These are our family favorites. I can’t tell you how many times we have visited these attractions. We love to become tourists for a day and enjoy all the fun things to do around town. Have fun and let us know what you think.
