St Augustine Beach Florida – the best of the best! Grab your towel and beach chair and head out for a perfect day of relaxation.
Life can tend to get pretty stressful these days; everyone hurrying along with increasing speed trying to get everything done.
My suggestion? Take a break, rest and rejuvenate, right here with us, right here at St Augustine Beach Florida.
Lean back and listen to one of the most peaceful sounds you’ll ever hear; the waves gently lapping the shore.
Florida beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world.
There are miles and miles of coastline with hundreds of “beach towns”; but I must say, none prettier than right here at St Augustine Beach Florida.
The governing officials have been diligent to protect their community from excessive development, a big problem in much of Florida.
They have succeeded in maintaining the small town ambiance that I am certain you will enjoy.
That doesn’t mean there is a shortage of amenities. You’ll find:
All located within walking distance up and down A1A, Beach Blvd.
Most anything you could want and more.
Now, let me share a little secret; if you don’t feel like driving into St. Augustine to see the sites, you (or your desk clerk) can call the Old Town Trolley’s (green trolley’s) or the Sightseeing Trains (red trains) and they will send a shuttle to pick you up and bring you into town to their station.
From there you can ride the trolley or train around the city, have a narrated tour, step off; visit, eat, or shop and then hop back on again and continue around.
At the end of the day they will return you back to wherever you are staying. Oh, one other thing, the tickets are good for three days. What a terrific deal!
Important Note – make sure you are back at the station before they close or you might have a l-o-n-g walk back.
Our beaches here on Anastasia Island are wide with plenty of room for everyone even on a crowded summer’s day.
You’ll find all sorts of shells and maybe if you’re lucky a sharks tooth or two.
Many different types of shore birds will join you as they hunt and peck for their dinner.
You’ll see a wide variety of gulls, terns, sandpipers, egrets, and bitterns. Be sure to take your bird book along so you can identify what you see.
During the summer months giant sea turtles nest along the shore. Volunteers mark the nests so the eggs are not disturbed and the babies can hatch.
To make life a bit easier for the fledgling turtles the city requires lights along the beach to be turned off at night. If you are staying beachfront be sure to extinguish any outside lights after dark.
Now it’s your turn; this is the perfect time to pack your bags, hop in the car and head to the beach! Ahh, now doesn’t that sound wonderful?
“Hope to see you soon at St Augustine Beach Florida, the perfect place for your perfect beach vacation!”
