Mission Nombre de Dios

St. Augustine is known as the birthplace of Christianity in the continental United States.

When Pedro Menendez landed In 1565, the first Catholic Mass was celebrated by Father Lopez on the grounds of the Mission Nombre de Dios.

Memorial Presbyterian Church

Henry Flagler built three churches in the late 1800’s, Ancient City Baptist, Grace United Methodist and the crown jewel his Memorial Presbyterian Church. The architecture is stunning.
