Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in St. Augustine

Friday - January 15
Film - Dare Not Walk Alone - documentary about St. Augustine's role in the civil rights movement during the early 60's. St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church, 37 Lovett Street.

Saturday - January 16
David Nolan, local historian, train tour of the Freedom markets throughout St. Augustine. $10.00 donation will benefit ACCORD. Reservations are necessary. (904) 823-9688

Sunday - January 17
Vespers featuring the New Mt. Moriah Christian Ministry Choir along with retired U.S. Senator George McGovern. 5:50 p.m.

David Nolan will be speaking at the Unitatian Universalist Fellowship of St. Augustine at 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday - Sunday January 12 - 17
Best Little Whorehouse in Texas presented by Limelight Theatre. 7:30 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday and 2:00 p.m Sunday. 11 Mission Ave. (904) 825-1164


Friday and Saturday - January 15-16
There is still time to enjoy the Nights of Lights aboard the Holly Jolly Trolley. Visitors Center 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Wild Dreams performed by Paul JellinekH. A tell all tale by Henry Flagler (Paul Jellinek). 7:00 p.m. San Marco Theater, San Marco Avenue

Opening of Sharks at the World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX theater. Meet the director of photography, Gavin McKinney, Friday evening or Saturday afternoon. VIP dinner and movie at Friday evening premier.

Saturday January 17
Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra - Flagler College Auditorium, Granada St. 2:00 p.m. Tickets $30.00 per person. Emma Concert Series (904) 797-2800
