FERRIS BUELLER – FOR FREE!

See this free presentation of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – a cult classic! Already 23 years young, this is the ultimate high school prankster movie. Part of the Night Owl Cinema series, the movie will be shown at the beautiful St. Augustine Amphitheatre on A1A just south of the lighthouse. Local restaurants will have food available for purchase. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 8 p.m. For more information, call 904.471.1965


NIGHT AT THE LIGHTNER

Enjoy a parent’s night while your children spend an educational and entertaining Night at the Lightner Museum. From 6-11 p.m., children ages 7-12 will experience dinner, games, a treasure hunt, a PG movie, and other interactive adventures at St. Augustine’s famed Lightner Museum. Hosted by the Junior Service League of St. Augustine, proceeds will help fund the League’s Lightner East Restoration Project. Tickets are $45 per child. For more information, call 904.302.2444.

DARK OF THE MOON TOUR

Venture into the Keepers' House and Tower at night, learn about the history of the St. Augustine Light Station, listen to paranormal tales and experience darkness inside the St. Augustine Lighthouse. The tours are conducted at 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $25 per adult and $20 per child. Children must be at least 7 years old and 44 inches tall to climb the tower. Space is limited and reservations are required. For more information, call 904.829.0745

FORT MATANZAS NATURE EXPLORATIONS

Be a part of this National Parks Service Nature Series at Fort Matanzas National Monument. These ranger-led walks are part of a series of excursions, each exploring a different habitat or ecosystem at Fort Matanzas. The tours take place on the last Saturday of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Fort Matanzas National Monument is located on A1A at the south end of Anastasia Island approximately 15 miles south of St. Augustine. For more information, call 904.461.0116.

CROSBY, STILLS AND NASH IN CONCERT

Relax and let the mellow tunes and magical harmonies of one of America’s favorite bands from the 60’s and 70’s wash over you as American music icons Crosby, Stills and Nash perform at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
