October in St. AugustineOctober has arrived! I find it interesting that very close to the first of October the hot weather breaks. It can be a week on either side but it is usually very close to the first. Those very hot and humid days of September are gone, along with the hurricanes. Hurricane season continues through the 30th of November but with each passing day the threat diminishes. As the weather cools off it is no longer conducive to hurricane development. That's not to say there won't be one, just that the likelihood is decreasing. We all breathe a big sigh of relief, while our hearts go out to those along the Gulf Coast who weren't so lucky. I know if you are able, you'll lend a helping hand to those in need. We sure live in a great country, don't we? A country where neighbors help neighbors wherever there is a need. I spent last week doing our "spring" cleaning. The change in the weather inspired me to get-it-done. I am thankful I am able to be a work-at-home Mom who has the luxury to spend a week cleaning, sounds like the top of your list of fun things to do, right? Well, I must admit, I love a clean house almost as much as working on my website. I hope you'll take advantage of this wonderful time of the year and make plans to visit St. Augustine, you'll be glad you did. What’s New:Gosh, there are so many changes to St-Augustine-Travel-Guide.com I hardly know where to begin. The first major change is how the site looks. I'd love to know what you think, do you like the new look? Drop me a line and share your thoughts. Several new pages are complete and have been added to the site. For those interested in attending College in St. Augustine you'll want to visit these informative pages. Our buddy, Matt Wrann, our local fishing expert shared all his secrets on our Fishing pages. You won't want to miss reading what he has to say. You even have an opportunity to share your fish story and a picture of you and the whopper you caught right on our website. I've also added a new page devoted to Restaurant Reviews. You can read what others have written and then join in and write a review of your favorite St. Augustine Restaurant. In the next few weeks I will be adding our St. Augustine Beach pages where you'll learn all about this wonderful beach community. Wide sandy beaches, great restaurants, luxurious hotels, and just a short drive into St. Augustine; sounds like the perfect place to spend your vacation, you'll see. I'll also be adding the St. Augustine Art pages where I'll introduce you to our talented artists, guide you to our local art galleries and tell you all about our monthly Artwalk and Uptown San Marco events. You won't want to miss this. Be sure to check back often to see what‘s new. Upcoming St. Augustine Events:October Events:

Build Your Own Web BusinessHave you thought about building your own web business? If I can do it you can do it. I highly recommend SiteSell, the company I use to build this site. What I love, is that they teach you how to build a web business not just put up a website. How to be successful. Dr. Ken Evoy, the founder, really delivers. I have never met him, but you know what, he seems like a friend that really cares whether I and my fellow SBI'ers are successful. Dr. Evoy has changed lives! Check out My Website Story and see what you think. Watch for these new pages coming to St-Augustine-Travel-Guide.com very soon:
