July in St. Augustine

"Hello" from our home,

This has been the hottest June I can remember in St. Augustine. Several days already in the high 90's. Usually, we don't get this hot until well into July.

I must say though, today has been very pleasant. I awoke this morning to a thunderstorm and pounding rain. It gradually tapered off to a light rain and finally quit. Clouds remained which kept the temperature quite mild.

Have you ever noticed that you tend to take those special places around you for granted? Or maybe you just don't make the time to enjoy those special places?

For example, we live in this wonderful community just a ten minute drive to the ocean and we hardly ever go. Strange, isn't it? Oh, I can hear many of you, "What? You mean you don't go to the beach?"

I am happy to say we have decided to make time every day to enjoy this wonderful place we are fortunate enough to call home. We went for a long walk on the beach this afternoon and dove in the ocean to cool off afterward. It was wonderful!

We are going to turn over a new leaf and get to the beach just as often as we can. How about you? Isn't it time you headed for the beach?

An odd looking little critter
Armadillo, St. Augustine, Florida

I looked out my office window a day or so ago and look who I saw. A young armadillo rooting around for a tasty treat.

He was so engrossed with his digging I was able to creep up and take this photo. Once he realized I was there he scampered off back into the woods.

I love working at home.

Can I ask you a favor? If you have a favorite page or pages on our site would you help us spread the word? Maybe you found our St. Augustine Attractions page helpful or our St. Augustine Restaurants page or maybe our St. Augustine Tours page. Which ever ones you found especially helpful, would you be so kind as to share them? It only takes a minute and it's very easy.

At the bottom of every page is our "Share this page" box with several ways to share our site. You can add us to your Facebook or MySpace, Tweet us or Stumble us, YahooBuzz us or Google us, and you can even add a link to your website. A "digg" would be great, too.

We appreciate your vote of confidence and you'll be helping others discover the best of St. Augustine, too.

Most of all, I hope you'll be joining us for a vacation in St. Augustine very soon.

All the best,
Lynn

Dr. Ken Evoy, the founder, really delivers. I have never met him, but you know what, he seems like a friend that really cares whether I and my fellow SBI'ers succeed. Dr. Evoy has changed lives! Check out My Website Story and see what you think.

Ok, that's it for this issue - see you next time and I hope you have a wonderful visit to St. Augustine, Florida, my hometown!
