Summertime in St. Augustine

We had a thunderstorm blow through a short while ago and it has turned into a lovely evening. I love the way the air smells after it rains. So fresh and clean.

Our bird feeders are especially busy this time of year. Mama and Papa Cardinal have brought their youngsters to feast at the feeder in back.

Red-bellied’s and chickadee’s are enjoying the suet feeder and the hummingbirds are sipping away out front. We are fortunate to live in an area that has a wide variety of birds throughout the year. Warblers are plentiful during the summer and love splashing around in the bird bath. I love to peek out the window and see who is visiting.

Now that summer has arrived I have resumed my nightly walks on the beach. It is the perfect way to relax after a busy day. Splashing along at the edge of the waves is so soothing. I love the colors of the water and the sky as the sun dips below the thunderheads in the western sky. A gentle breeze accompanies me most evenings dispersing the heat of the day. What a lovely way to end the day.

I truly am blessed to live in such a wonderful area.

What’s New:

I have been busy adding pages to St-Augustine-Travel-Guide.com. Our two day itineraries are up and we will soon add the three day and week’s itineraries. Print them out and keep them handy, you don’t want to miss anything while you are visiting.

I also have up our new Historic Churches page. We have many lovely old churches here that you won't want to miss when you visit. Several are on the sightseeing route. Oh, and don't miss our Anastasia Island page. Lots of goodies there, too.

It really is amazing to me as I write these pages just how much there is to do in our lovely town. I think you are going to really like it here!

Be sure to check back often to see what‘s new.

Build Your Own Web Business:

Have you thought about building your own web business? If I can do it you can do it. I highly recommend SiteSell, the company I use to build this site. What I love, is that they teach you how to build a web business. How to be successful.

Dr. Ken Evoy, the founder, really delivers. I have never met him, but you know what, he seems like a friend that really cares whether I and my fellow SBI'ers are successful. Dr. Evoy has changed lives! Check out My Website Story and see what you think.
