Trinity Episcopal Parish

Trinity Episcopal Parish was established in 1821 and is the oldest Protestant church in Florida. Construction on the original church began in 1830 and was complete in 1831. It was built of coquina as were many structures in that era in St. Augustine.

Work began on enlarging the old church in 1902 with completion of the “new” church in 1903. Several additions over the years bring us to the church of today, a fully realized complex that includes a parish hall, kitchen, classrooms administrative offices and a nursery.

Be sure to observe the beautiful stained class windows as you visit. They were placed in the church beginning in 1859.

Trinity’s Aeolian-Skinner Organ is a 91 rank, hybrid pipe and digital organ. It was installed in 1967 and restored in 1999. It has a magnificent full sound.
